Hello everyone out there, I will try and make this short and succinct. I have been with my husband for 14 years and we have a wonderful eleven year old son. I never knew what PTSD was until my therapist explained to me what it is and that some people can suffer from a very complicated form, accumulated incrementally over their entire childhood, due to trauma in the family and sometimes their culture, if there is serious threat to their life.
