I often hear sounds of someone walking around my downstairs at night when there is no one there. Until now, I have convinced myself that I was over-reacting to small sounds and that my imagination was getting away from me. As far as I know, there has never really been anyone in the house. Last night, I was in a state of paralyzed anxiety for nearly the entire night as I heard things being moved around, and the sounds of someone walking with big boots.
