I m in the process of switching from 225mg Effexor XR (which I ve been on for 8 years) to Zoloft (or, well... the generic). My doctor started me off by dropping to 150mg Effexor and 25 mg Zoloft, 3-4 weeks. The withdrawal symptoms have been many and various. Started with being very jittery, then I started having manic episodes where I was talking rapidly, thinking rapidly and I even couldn t stop moving leg back and forth for half an hour!
