Emotional Abuse Signs

I went to a particularly awful primary school here in Ireland. There was one teacher who was a monster and had it in for me. He assaulted me one day and somehow, don t remember how, we actually ended up being friendly...or so I thought. He made me his special pupil and would defend me from bullies and lavish praise on me. Although I didn t know any better at the time I now realise it was a toxic relationship. He would insult me and taught me to call myself names whenever I did something wrong.... Emotional Abuse Signs
