I turned on my computer and pulled up the scanner program. I listen while I m working on the computer. I need noise and it s better than getting news from my newspaper. Much to my horror I hear them blocking the interstate to clear a path to the Trauma Center. It s feels like someone kicked me in the gut. The radio traffic is eerily silent. I know it s bad. I m shaking now and strain to figure out what s going on. The dispatcher calls out the intersections as they clear. I m getting light... Scanner Nightmare
