Hello, Almost 2 years ago I was physically and sexually assaulted by my boyfriend at the time... It was life threatening. My initial emotional reaction was to feel numb, I was in shock and allowed him to stay in my life (which I m now ashamed to admit). I ve been diagnosed with anxiety in the past, and needless to say this was a major trigger for me. It took a while to set in fully but the impacts of this have made it really difficult to function.
