I don t know if I even belong here, but these forums have helped me make a little sense of some things recently so, maybe I do. I ve been seeing a therapist for extended postpartum depression (my kid is 2.5, it s no longer hormonal) and she thinks that the depression is trauma related (hyperemesis gravidarum, long difficult labor, and then a somewhat terrifying emergency c-section, etc,...
