In 2010 I was date raped. I won t go into the details of the entire night, so no worries, you re spared a lot of reading. I was "fine" for the first year or so. I didn t believe it actually happened, etc. etc. etc. I ended up with an STD because of it, I also had a hysterectomy and it was partly because of my rape, but mostly because of issues. These two things haunt me even more than the event. Now I m in a weird place. It gets worse over time, oh how cliche ! I didn t believe my doctor... I m A Statistic! Hooray!
