No, its not a medication used to treat PTSD but being on it for other conditions can seriously increase PTSD symptoms. I just want to give people the heads up. If your Dr. recommends it for any health issues, ask about alternatives first. I thought the increase in anxiety and nightmares would ease up once I was off of it.
