I m wondering how many sufferers label their isolation periods as "break ups". I know that for my S/O he does it every time, and it drives me batty. There are times he s done it for a day, a couple days, weeks, and a month....at different times. The reality is when he is having an "episode", if I give him space, he keeps in contact with me and we have "rules"....such as no dating, texting goodnight every night so we know the other is safe, we don t "announce it" .
