Everybody knows there is a close link between PTSD and alcohol abuse, and I d like to hear everyone s experiences with this. Most alcoholics I know say they drink to numb the pain or forget all troubles, but for me it s always been the exact opposite. I drink to feel. Because when I don t drink, I don t feel anything at all. And the only thing that allows me to reflect on things that have happened to me is alcohol. When I don t drink, I rarely if ever reflect on my traumas. I go through life... Ptsd And Alcohol Abuse
