I m a woman who experienced a trauma 3 years ago (I suddenly had my life changed around after somebody close to me did something insane, and I have lived under threats from this person - to my kids and myself - since then). Around 8-10 months after the initial trauma I was diagnosed with PTSD, and spent the first 2 years somewhere undefined, dissociating for the most part.
