Hello everyone. I have experienced traumatic events from early childhood on through adulthood, but I never associated my mental illness with trauma, and I did not know that I had co-occuring mental illnesses. I had not received any help for over a decade, but throughout this year, I lost two family members, I witnessed death firsthand as a caregiver, and the love of my life got incarcerated when I needed him the most.
