I ve had PTSD for almost 15 years, severe, just diagnosed last year. My doctor told me a tale. Ancient legend. The Ancient Romans considered people with PTSD to be touched by the gods, communed with their spirits. Men coming back from wars in that time, long ago, that had our thing, was a gift. They were revered with honor, They were treated with respect, and as mystics, in touch with the spirits.
