My name is Katy and I have suffered from PTSD for the last eight years. I was 19 when my ex-husband beat me up so bad that I had to have reconstructive surgery to the entire left side of my face. One of the fractures almost reached my brain, a quarter of a centimeter away which means he almost killed me. I blacked out a lot of the event and have dissociation with my PTSD.
