My therapist gave me a lot of advice in a rough couple sessions this week. Yesterday she said to me that "you made a pretty big mistake," and "if you try to control everything you re going to end up with an oil and water relationship with your daughter like __________ (husband) has." The "mistake" was that my daughter had an excess of deserts this week, because school s wrapping up- for example, on graduation night, the school served her two pieces of cake, ice cream and soda, the day...
