I just joined today, it is great to know I am not alone and that you are here for newbies like me....thank you. I have been dealing with abuse and all of the seemingly unending consequences since I was five (or so) years old. I have never been able to recall all the abuse, but from the memories I have regained, perhaps that s better. I tried therapy twice when I was young but stopped abruptly when it became too much to handle; I am now 55 years old and still dealing with a vast array of abuse... It s Been A Mighty Long Road...
