Helping Him After A Trigger


He is a cop with combat PTSD. He was nearly killed at work by gunfire. Person missed. He will flip flop between I am fine, and I m struggling. I laughed about something entirely unrelated, when we weren t even talking about what happened, and he was like its not funny. Someone tried to shoot me! I apologized, even though I didn t do anything knowingly wrong. And left him alone until the next day. Now he keep going back and forth between ok, and not ok, and I don t know how to act. A...
