California Residents Report Mental Health Stigma


Some of the country sights Florida being an open minded state, a somewhat different environment is perceived by citizens with mental health problems. This perception was discovered in a brand new RAND Corporation research that identified a sizable percentage of people with mental illness reporting discrimination in both public and personal settings. Researchers discovered that only 41 percent of these surveyed think that individuals are not cool and supportive to individuals with mental illnesses. Furthermore, 81 percent of these surveyed thought that individuals with mental illness experience high degrees of discrimination and prejudice.
