I was on Citalopram for five years, I started on 20mg and at one point when I was feeling very anxious the doctor put me up to 40mg. Before going on the medication, I felt numb and suicidal. I was really struggling and when the doctor recommended the meds, I was apprehensive but was at that point willing to try anything. When the meds started to take effect, I felt a surge of life that I had been missing for so long. I was actually laughing again, dancing and would wake up in the mornings... Going Back On Citalopram Feels Like The Best Option?
