How's Your Day Been? Each Day is Different, So Make Your Mark Daily


"This is Just to Say" is a poem by William Carlos Williams (from NJ--represent!). It has become almost a hobby for poets to write their own versions of "This is Just to Say." It is a poem that is essentially an unapologetic way of apologizing. There is no actual apology in the poem, even though one is due. I thought this exercise, if you will, was especially ripe for a forum centered around PTSD, where we are often so apologetic, so ashamed, etc. The non-apology of this poem strikes a chord...
