Hi all, Been fighting PTSD for just over a year now, not sure I ll ever be completely clear of it. Halloween 13 I was on duty as a prison officer when I had boiling water laced with sugar thrown into my face by a prisoner who I had no previous dealings with. I was lucky not to have been blinded in my left eye and had burns to my face and scalp. The smell of my own flesh melting hasn t left me since.
